Elberg Lecture

Stanley Hoffman of Harvard University will deliver the 1995 Sanford S. Elberg Lecture in International Studies April 19 at 4 p.m. in Alumni House. His title is "The Ethical Basis of International Politics."

Hoffman is the Douglas Dillon Professor of the Civilization of France and Chair of Harvard's Center for European Studies.

His lecture will complement the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the United Nations.

Nominate Top Staff

Nominations are open through April 21 for Outstanding Staff Awards to be presented by the chancellor at a May 19 ceremony. Winners will be selected by the Chancellor's Staff Advisory Committee. All Berkeley staff are eligible except executive tier administrators and those with academic titles.

Call for Abstracts

UC faculty are invited to submit abstracts and applications to participate in the 1995 Wellness Lecture Series of the California Wellness Foundation and the Office of the President.

Lectures should address policy implications or service issues. For applications, contact the Sponsored Projects Office.

SpringFest '95 Coming

International House's SpringFest '95 will be April 22 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 2299 Piedmont Ave.

SpringFest is a daylong extravaganza of performances, arts and handicrafts, fashions, live jazz, food and children's activities from around the world.
