Haas School of Business Dedicates Building May 6

Berkeley faculty and staff are invited to the dedication of the new Haas School of Business building May 6. The event begins at 9 a.m and goes all day.

Cost of attending is $12 per person, which includes a continental breakfast, box lunch and afternoon reception, as well as admittance to special presentations and demonstrations.

Deadline for registration is April 21. To receive a registration form, call 642-7790.

In addition to the dedication, a free open house for the campus will be held May 11 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. This event offers a chance to explore the building in an informal setting.

Refreshments will be available. Please reply via email to openhaas @haas.berkeley.edu by May 8 if you are interested in attending the open house.

On May 6, Dean William Hasler, Chancellor Tien and Rhoda Haas Goldman will preside over the dedication and ribbon cutting ceremonies.

Cheit Hall, the new classroom wing, will also be dedicated.

Following this, three panel sessions will focus on the Haas School's strategic themes: international business, management of technology and entrepreneurship and innovation.
