Career staff can now buy homes in the University Terrace complex previously reserved for faculty.
University Terrace is located on California Street between Allston Way and Addison Street, eight blocks west of campus.
Prices range from $140,000 to $225,000 for studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom condominiums, some with an additional study.
Staff are invited to view the properties at a reception May 5 from 4 to 6 p.m. Counseling on home financing will be available.
To avoid traffic congestion in the neighborhood, a shuttle will be available the day of the reception leaving from the campus at the West Circle just east of the west entrance off Oxford Street.
The shuttle will leave every 20 minutes beginning at 4 p.m. with the last shuttle leaving campus at about 5:20 p.m.
The last return shuttle will leave University Terrace at 6:20 p.m.
Two more open house sessions will be held May 7 and May 21 from 2 to 5 p.m. Tours and purchase counseling are also available by appointment.
