TRIP Program Comes to an End On June 30

The Office of the President has confirmed that the Temporary Reduction Incentive Program will end on June 30 and will not be renewed. The Council of Chancellors concurred in this decision, based on careful consideration of the advantages and disadvantages of extending TRIP.

Consistent with personnel policy, employees may request part-time or partial year appointments. Reduced time arrangements are at the department's discretion, and some departments may have the ability to accommodate requests for reduced hours if staffing and workload requirements permit.

For information about flexible work arrangements, staff can attend one of the workshops described in the Employee Development and Training Catalog, and contact supervisors or department employee relations specialists in the campus Personnel Office.
