Outstanding Managers To Be Honored May 4

The 10th annual Berkeley Staff Assembly Excellence in Management Awards ceremony will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m. May 4, in the Lipman Room on the 8th floor of Barrows Hall.
The theme for this years award is Managing Work/Life Quality.
Staff will honor managers and supervisors who have created work arrangements that enhance employees ability to integrate work and personal life interests, while maintaining or improving job performance.
Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Carol Christ, Vice Chancellor for Business and Administrative Services Horace Mitchell and Director of Human Resources Alice Gregory will join in honoring this years award recipients.
Carol Hoffman, co-chair of the Chancellors Advisory Committee and Manager of Work/Life Program Development at University Health Services, is keynote speaker.
To receive the Excellence in Management Award, managers and supervisors must be nominated by a majority of the staff they directly supervise.
