The campus’s annual Distinguished Teaching Award ceremony takes place Tuesday, April 28, at 5 p.m. in the Zellerbach Playhouse. A reception follows in the Toll Room of the Alumni House. Honored will be recipients Jesse Choper, Earl Warren professor of public law at Boalt Hall; Anne Haas Dyson, professor in the Graduate School of Education; Donald Friedman, professor of English; Patricia Jane Jones, lecturer in College Writing Programs; and Richard K. Lyons, associate professor at the Haas School of Business. The ceremony includes a slide-tape presentation about each honoree. It is free and open to the university community and to the public.
