Grief and Loss Support Group

This support group is designed for faculty and staff who have lost a parent or other adult loved one. It is open to all faculty and staff, including participants of the Grief/Loss workshop held Sept. 23 and 30.

CALS Project Seeks Volunteer Tutors

The CALS Project -- which provides employees with free, one-to-one tutoring in speaking, writing, reading and math -- will begin a noon-time tutor training beginning October 13.

Strategic and Operational Planning:
The Basis for Developing Budgets and Managing Resources

This two-part workshop provides an approach to planning used successfully on campus to produce written operational plans for budgetary requests, approvals, and allocations. Fee: $100.

Presentation Skills

Learn and practice skills to increase effectiveness and self confidence when giving presentations to groups. Bring a blank VHS video tape to class the second day.
