Black Staff Dialogue on Post-209 Atmosphere
An evening dedicated to dialogue and information gathering on black staff issues at Berkeley will be held Wednesday, Feb. 23, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Barrows Hall's 7th floor Lipman Room.
Staff can share their experiences as campus employees. Information shared will be compiled into a report that will identify issues -- but not individuals
The report will be shared with Sandra Haire, assistant vice chancellor for human resources, and the Black Staff & Faculty Organization -- with the hope that it will inform future activities of Human Resources, the Staff Affirmative Action Office and the Black Staff & Faculty Organization.
Participants can talk in small groups, facilitated by Staff Affirmative Action Office diversity facilitators.
Staff may also submit comments anonymously in writing, during or after the event. Information about various relevant campus resources will be available.
