Compensation group to hold public forum

24 Jan 2001 | The Compensation Advisory Committee, the group created by Chancellor Berdahl in September to study and recommend solutions to the current serious problems with the campus job classification and compensation systems, will hold a public forum from noon to 1:15 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 31, in the Alumni House's Toll Room.

Committee members will be available to answer questions about the committee's work, and the group will seek feedback from staff regarding problems with the current compensation system and the appropriate goals for a new compensation system.

Staff may bring their lunch to the forum.

For staff members who prefer to communicate with the committee privately, an e-mail account - cac@uclink.berkeley.edu - has been established.

The chancellor has charged the committee to submit recommendations to him before the end of the academic year.
