Snow bears!

snowman

Students take time out from classes to build a snow bear Monday, Feb. 12, on UC land near Grizzly Peak. Mother Nature blanketed portions of the campus's westernmost reaches and the surrounding Berkeley hills with up to three inches of snow. It was the first time snow had fallen at that low elevation in almost 25 years. Peg Skorpinski photo.
