New employment office services

09 May 2001 | • Visit hrweb.berkeley.edu/jvl/new.php to access the new interactive Job Vacancy Listing form. The online form is a quicker, more efficient way to get job openings listed. Paper job vacancy listing forms will no longer be accepted after the close of the 2001 fiscal year.

• Hiring staff can now go online — http://hrweb.berkeley.edu/hrjobs.htm — to mark their job listings as closed, extended, canceled or filled. The changes will be reflected automatically on the Web site.

• Applicants can go to the Web site to check the status of a job. Job seekers can search for positions by salary range, work hours, job title, occupational area or sponsoring department.

• The employment office has created three teams, each of which will cover a section of control units across the campus. Specific departmental assignments will posted on the Human Resources Web site.
