We regret that errors appeared in “113 Campbell Hall: First Stop for Many Entering Freshmen,” published in our Aug. 16 issue. Some sentences and quotes in the article were picked up verbatim from the Student Life Advising Services (SLAS) web site and attributed incorrectly. Among them is this statement, which correctly refers to SLAS’s mission: “Our eclectic approach to counseling allows us to use various resources to meet students’ needs and expectations. We also offer a comprehensive assessment of students’ needs and assist students in interacting with the academic environment to help them discover and develop their full potential.” The Berkeleyan apologizes for these errors.
