06 February 2002 | Financial aid supervisor Roland Powell meets with Gilbert Trevino, right, the first student to visit the Financial Aid Office’s redesigned reception space in 211 Sproul Hall.

The remodeling provides a more comfortable, ergonomic and
confidential area for advisers and the thousands of students they assist each year. Clients can be seated, instead of standing at teller-like windows as they have until now.

“It’s a lot more personal,” Trevino said of the roomier,
more comfortable setting.
