Influential legislator visits campus, LBNL

Rep. Mike Honda (D-San Jose), member of the House Committee on Science, gave the keynote address at the Jan. 30 groundbreaking ceremony for the new Molecular Foundry at the Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory, a U.S. Department of Energy national user facility for nanoscience research. Honda then spent the afternoon on campus, where he was briefed on cybersecurity research by EECS faculty.
