Campus to honor those who died in 2008-09

On Thursday, Sept. 3, the Berkeley campus will gather for its eighth annual memorial service to honor those of its own — students, staff, faculty, and emeriti — who have died during the past year. The ceremony will be held from noon to
1 p.m. on the lawn west of California Hall; all are welcome to attend.

The names of those to be honored are online at NewsCenter. If a person who died in the past year is not listed, contact Maureen Kelly maureenkelly@uhs.berkeley.edu by 5 p.m., Monday, Aug. 31, so that he or she can be remembered at the event.
