John Fisher and his all-Cal cast entertain San Francisco with Medea the Musical. Next stop: Los Angeles

Hit Musical
John Fisher (inset) and his all-Cal cast have been entertaining San Francisco nightly with their new play, Medea the Musical. Fisher, a doctoral student in the Center for Theater Arts, debuted the musical on campus. The play was such a hit that it was enjoying a long run at the Stage Door Theater. "Exuberantly funny," "A dazzling display," "Riotous slapstick," say reviewers. Fisher wrote and directed the play, and also acts as the director of the play, Medea, within his play. The actors and the musical director are all Cal students or recent alumni. Their next stop is Los Angeles. If as successful there, Fisher's next stop may be the Great White Way!
