Berkeley Magazine, Summer 1999

Imaginations soared. Spirits lifted. Minds expanded. Some 30,000 visitors took advantage of their once-a-year opportunity to explore the many sights and sounds of UC Berkeley at Cal Day, the campus's annual open house.

The April 17 event featured lectures, demonstrations, performances and other activities for every member of the family. Special programs for prospective students included campus and dorm tours and information on admissions. See you next year!
