On-campus broadcast studios
The campus has two studios with satellite uplink capabilities and ISDN lines, making it convenient for campus experts to respond to broadcast media requests. Both are managed by professional staff who answer media calls quickly and work with broadcast outlets to set up an interview. These studios are used regularly by major broadcast networks such as National Public Radio, The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer, NBC, ABC, CBS, MSNBC, Fox News Channel and CNBC.

Filming on campus
Broadcast media may film open, outside areas of campus and people at a distance, but they need an OK to go inside buildings, so as not to disturb classes or other campus business. They also need permission to film anyone who could be identified easily on TV. To film in a classroom, individual professors or instructors can decide whether to allow a reporter in. Media Relations can seek permission for all your requests.
