Cal to play Fresno State in NCAA Tournament's first round

The California Golden Bears will meet the Fresno State Bulldogs in their first-round NCAA Tournament game on Friday, March 16, televised live at approximately 7:10 p.m. Pacific Time on CBS.
This is the Bears' first appearance in the NCAA men's basketball tournament since 1997. The match-up is the last game of the day from The Pyramid in Memphis, Tenn. If the Bears win, they will play on Sunday, March 18, at approximately 1:45 p.m. Pacific Time.
