WHAT
A free, public lecture by Robert Reich, U.S. Secretary of Labor during President Clinton's term, on "Why a Massachusetts Liberal Will Be the Next President (and Other Amazing Prophecies)." Reich is a distinguished visiting scholar at the University of California, Berkeley's Goldman School of Public Policy.
WHEN

Wheeler Auditorium, on the UC Berkeley campus, just northeast of Sather Gate.
DETAILS
Credentialed reporters wishing to cover the event should check in at a media table in the Wheeler Hall lobby to be assigned to reserved seating. Members of the public can pick up free tickets to the program at the booth in the lobby.
Reich is the University Professor and Maurice Hexter Professor of Social and Economic Policy at Brandeis University's Heller School for Social Policy and is a frequent commentator on the national and global economy, politics, and the changing nature of work.
At UC Berkeley for the spring semester, he is teaching a course on wealth and poverty, giving public lectures such as this, and working on a new book about leadership and change.
