Staff-mentor nominations sought by May 23

– The Berkeley Staff Assembly (BSA) is soliciting nominations for potential mentors to participate in the next cycle of the Staff Mentorship Program. The program provides a framework within which staff members can gain insight from more senior colleagues while enhancing their personal growth and learning about Berkeley's organizational culture. More than 80 staff members have volunteered as mentors since the program's inception in 2004, and 45 mentees have participated.

Mentor nominees, from all units on campus, should hold positions at the level of PSS 5 and above; they will be contacted by BSA's Membership Committee to ascertain their interest and willingness to serve.

Nominations must be submitted via e-mail to kgoldberg@berkeley.edu by Friday, May 23. Each nomination should include the nominee's name, position, and department/unit.

For more information about the mentorship program, including comments from past mentor/mentee participants, visit the BSA website.
