Turf restoration to close Memorial Glade

A large portion of Memorial Glade will be closed for much of the fall semester to allow restoration of the area's soil and grass. Preliminary work has already begun, and temporary fencing will go up following Student Homecoming events scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 1. Repairs to soil levels and the lawn will commence soon thereafter. Fencing is expected to be up through November to allow for complete restoration of the turf. During restoration, a section on the south side of Memorial Glade will remain accessible for activities.
