18 June 2009

President Yudof intends to present a single option to the Board of Regents for approval at the July 2009 meeting. Whatever option is eventually adopted will apply to all employees systemwide, subject to the University meeting any obligations under HEERA (Higher Education Employer-Employee Relations Act).
At this time, we are inviting campus comments on the draft options. Please respond no later than 5:00 p.m. on June 29, 2009 as follows:
- Non-represented staff and managers should send their comments to email@example.com.
- Senate faculty and non-represented academic appointees should send their comments to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Supervisors are asked to print and distribute President Yudof’s letter and the proposed Furlough/Salary Reduction Plan Options to employees who do not have access to a computer.
