Teaching & Learning: The Office of Educational Development, under the oversight of the Vice Provost for Teaching, Learning, Academic Planning and Facilities, administers programs that encourage teaching excellence and innovation, support faculty in their teaching, and recognize faculty achievement in teaching. The office also serves as a link to other teaching and learning related programs and activities on campus.

Bear Facts: Website where faculty can access student information — including class lists and wait lists — and can enter and submit final course grades. For students, Bear Facts includes class schedules, grades, billing, and financial aid.

bSpace: A collaboration and learning environment for faculty, GSIs, and students.

Resources, tools, technology: Links to key units that support teaching, technological resources, and tools, and teaching assistance.

Unique teaching opportunities: American Cultures, the Freshman Seminar Program, Letters and Science Discovery Courses, the Undergraduate Research Apprentice Program, and OLLI.

Professional development, recognition, and fellowships: Opportunities for recognition — such as the Distinguished Teaching Award and the Outstanding GSI Award — as well as pedagogical research grants for faculty and GSIs. Also includes seminars and events.
