Last year, Cal athletics had yet another outstanding season. Cal's 27 varsity sports teams ranked seventh nationally in overall excellence in the Directors' Cup standings; it was the Bears fifth Top-10 finish in the past six years. It's all happening at Berkeley. The university hosts an amazing parade of cultural offerings, from symphonies to plays to sold-out rock concerts and political debates. Venues include:

Yo-Yo Ma Cal Performances: Acclaimed performing arts center presents top artists such as best-selling novelist David Sedaris, cellist Yo-Yo Ma, the Alvin Ailey dancers, and economist Paul Krugman. Schedule >
