Save a Life at at CPR Saturday Sept. 30

More than 75 percent of all cardiac arrests occur at home with family and friends looking on not knowing what to do.

In only a few hours Saturday, Sept. 30, you and your family can learn how to save lives. CPR Saturday is a free training day on campus at Hearst Gym designed to give you valuable lifesaving skills such as chokesaving, rescue breathing and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Classes take three to four hours and start on the hour between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. The course includes Red Cross certifiation in adult CPR. Other sessions begin throughout the day in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo and Santa Clara counties.
