Summer campus programs for kids are already being planned and Berkeleyan and the Chancellor's Advisory Committee on Dependent Care would like to know about them.
Again this year, we are gathering information on on-campus summer programs for children--from arts to sports and math to dance.
Too often parents working on campus need to plan far in advance for their children's summers, so in February Berkeleyan will list all summer programs submitted.
Program sponsors should send information to the committee c/o Administrative Services, 3rd floor, Tang Center, 2222 Bancroft Way, by Dec. 8. The fax number is 643-5079; email is uhsadmin@violet. Include the following information:
oa one-sentence program description
o dates and times
o age range
o prices and whether financial assistance is available
o a phone number for information
o any special requirements
For programs that don't have all the details, send whatever is available. Those with photos from last year's programs for use in this year's listing should contact Berkeleyan at 643-8012 or email, berkeleyan@pa.urel.berkeley.edu.
