Fee Proposed for Disabled Permit
Parking and Transportation has proposed the Jan. 1 implementation of a parking permit fee for campus disabled parking permits.
A campus disabled parking permit would be required of all faculty, staff and students who use a disabled parking permit and park on campus on a regular basis.
The proposed fee is $30 per month for parking in campus parking lots, or $5 per month for parking in the Foothill lot with shuttle service to campus. The Foothill disabled parking permit will be valid in campus lots after 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and all day on weekends.
The proposed fee will not apply to employees in the Technical Bargaining Unit or the Readers and Tutors Bargaining Unit.
Current annual disabled permit holders will be notified by mail of the implementation date and the procedure for obtaining a new permit.
