Red Cross to the Rescue

Seniors Sean MacClelland and Mike Warren know first-hand the valuable aid made possible by contributions to the campus's Charitable Campaign. Burned out of their southside apartment a year ago, they were left without even shoes for the night. The Red Cross, which is one of the beneficiaries of the campaign, gave the two invaluable emergency assistance. The roommates have a new apartment now, but Sean says he'll never forget the help he got that scary night.

Sean's mother, Kathryn MacClelland, associate director of Career and Graduate School Services, has long been a supporter of the campus campaign. This year, she said, the Red Cross will get her special attention. The Charitable Campaign continues through the end of December. This year's goal is to raise $200,000.
