Free (or Almost Free) Things To Do on Campus September 1998 Berkeley Art Museum Free admission on Thursdays from 11 a.m. to noon and from 5 to 9 p.m. The museum is located at 2525 Durant Ave. The Botanical Garden Free admission daily from 6:15 to 7 p.m. and all day Thursdays. Free docent-led tours Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays beginning at 1:30 p.m. and by appointment. A free "Sick Plant Clinic" is held the first Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to noon. Lawrence Hall of Science Free Saturday night star gazing from the plaza (under construction through October). Admission to the hall: $2-6 per person. UC Men's Octet and Golden Overtones College a cappella at its best. Noontime performances Wednesdays and Fridays at Sather Gate. Department of Music Noon Concert Series Wednesdays at Hertz Hall during the academic year. UC Berkeley Libraries Reading rooms of campus libraries open to the public year-round.
