On Parenting -- A Brown-Bag Series for Parents: Parenting the Spirited Child

This presentation will focus on ways to work with the particular temperament of a spirited child, on ways for parents to take care of themselves, and ideas for interacting with others in a child's life, such as teachers, child-care workers, partners and siblings. No enrollment required

Boundaries: What They Are, Why They're Important, and Guidelines for Effectively Negotiating Them
April 22, 10 a.m.- noon
When it comes to our serenity and success, the role of personal and interpersonal boundaries is difficult to overestimate. In this workshop, participants learn how boundaries operate in our work and personal lives, problem solving strategies that incorporate the concept of boundaries, and ways to effectively "cross" boundaries when necessary.
