New West Campus Gateway Signage Posted November 17, 1999   A new cast granite and bronze metal University of California sign will greet visitors at the west entry to campus on Cal Day, April 15, 2000. The $250,000 project, a gift of the Class of 1953, will consist of the lighted sign, as well as landscaping along a wooded path on the opposite corner. The landscaped area, above the banks of the south fork of Strawberry Creek, will include boulders for use as seats, and native plantings.
