Susan Love, M.D. (at right), a world-renowned expert in breast cancer and women’s health, speaks with Phyllis Hoffman, director of the Center for Organizational Effectiveness and a member of the campus Breast Health Committee, at a September 12 reception at University House. Love was the featured speaker at Chancellor Berdahl’s reception honoring breast-cancer survivors — one of several breast-cancer awareness activities planned for the campus community this fall, coordinated by Health*Matters, the campus wellness program. Others include a noontime speaker series in October and participation by a Berkeley team in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, on October 20 in Golden Gate Park.
