Sather/Campanile Esplanade

Decorative brick-and-granite paving enhances the setting of this classical open space just north of the Campanile, which includes several notable works of art and decorative elements. Unfortunately, upheaval and settling of the surface paving presents tripping hazards and disability-access problems. A plan to restore seating (deteriorated benches were removed in the 1980s) and add pedestrian lighting is needed.
