A landscape plan has never been developed for this important
thoroughfare, leaving the roadway and sidewalks a wide expanse of asphalt. A plan that complements the location’s proximity to Sather Tower and the eastern terminus of Campanile Way in envisioned,
to include plantings, lighting, and
signage, as well as improvements to the relatively bare and exposed
forecourts of South Hall and the Bancroft Library.
