Experts available to discuss President Bush's speech on corporate responsibility

ATTENTION: Reporters and Editorial Writers covering President Bush's speech this morning on corporate responsibility and ethics

University of California, Berkeley, experts are available to discuss President Bush's speech on corporate responsibility as well as address broader issues involving corporate accounting and business practices, ethics and the law.

Among the experts are faculty members from the campus's Haas School of Business, the School of Law (Boalt Hall), and UC Berkeley's Political Science Department.

Donald and Ruth Seiler Professor of Public Accounting
Director, Center for Financial Reporting and Management
Trueman's research focuses on the valuation of internet stocks, the performance of analysts' earnings forecasts and stock recommendations, herding behavior of analysts and investors, investors' private information collection decisions, and managerial disclosure decisions and shareholder litigation.

Richard Buxbaum
Jackson H. Ralston Professor of International Law
Buxbaum publishes in the fields of corporate law and comparative and international law. He has served on various state and national committees engaged in the drafting and review of corporate and securities legislation.

Bruce Cain
Robson Professor of Political Science; director, Institute of Governmental Studies
