Retirement-benefits workshop in August and September

BERKELEY — On Aug. 13 and Sept. 4, Human Resources will offer "Retiring From UC," a workshop that gives an overview to help UC employees considering retirement.
Participants will learn about UC Retirement Plan benefits, how to access their personalized online benefits information, and steps to take during the retirement process. The workshop also describes how to enroll in Medicare and coordinate it with coverage provided by UC retiree medical plans.
The workshop will be held first on Thursday, Aug. 13, from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. (Class Code: BEHRT019090813); it will be repeated on Friday, Sept. 4, from 9 a.m. to noon (Class Code: BEHRT019090904). Both sessions will be held in 150 University Hall.
Registration is required. To register, log on to the Blu portal and click on UCB Learning Center in the "Self Service" menu on the upper left-hand side of the page. Enter the class code in the "Search the catalog" box and click on "go."
